The Shipping Assistant supports day-to-day shipping operations by resolving shipment issues, coordinating with internal and external partners, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of domestic and international freight. This role focuses on generating precise shipping documentation, managing carrier assignments, and overseeing customer-specific shipments while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

Work Environment
The work environment is a very clean, air-controlled facility focused on driving performance in manufacturing through effective planning and continuous improvement. Team members work in both office and warehouse settings, using computer systems such as Oracle and Microsoft Office to manage shipping and inventory activities. The role requires flexibility to work beyond scheduled shifts during the week and on weekends as needed. Employees spend time sitting at a workstation as well as standing, walking the warehouse floor, and performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, pushing, pulling, and kneeling. Work may involve exposure to weather extremes when moving between areas or supporting shipping activities. All employees wear required PPE and follow plant safety policies. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $19.00/hr.
