What to Expect
Client is seeking a Landscape Architect/Designer to support the planning, design and construction throughout our 2,500+ acre site at the Gigafactory in Austin, TX. You will be participating in the planning, design and execution of ongoing and future Landscape/Ecological Restoration related projects at the Texas Campus. Our program schedules push the limits of what is physically possible, and the ideal candidate shall contribute to improving e ciency and e ectiveness while reducing ambiguity from Client plans.



What You'll Do
Support the landscape architecture team through all project phases - from concept to construction - contributing to design ideas, documentation, and coordination efforts.
Prepare and develop drawings, diagrams, and models for schematic design, design development, and construction documentation under the guidance of senior team members.
Assist with field reviews to verify work aligns with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams, project managers, and external consultants, contractors, and vendors to support coordinated project delivery.
Create presentation materials, including illustrative plans, diagrams, 3D models, renderings, and graphics to communicate design intent.
Participate in team design reviews, coordination meetings, and site walks to support continuous learning and project awareness.
Communicate regularly with senior team members and project leads on progress, challenges, and next steps.

What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture (or related field such as Civil Engineering, Architecture) from an accredited program.
1 3 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, urban design, or site planning.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and familiarity with ArcGIS, Rhino, Lumion, or similar 3D rendering tools.
Strong graphic representation, data visualization, and technical drafting skills, with an understanding of how to translate design intent into clear construction documentation.
Basic understanding of hardscape materials, planting design, stormwater management, and sustainable/green infrastructure principles.
Familiarity with landscape-related codes, standards, and permitting processes, with an interest in learning regulatory frameworks that shape site design.
Understanding of ecological and environmentally responsive design approaches, including low-impact development (LID) and nature-based solutions.
Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and adapt to fast-paced project environments.
A proactive attitude - eager to learn, ask questions, and contribute ideas to improve design and process.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with an openness to feedback and guidance.
