Overview
Registered Nurse – OR / PACU / Endoscopy (Travel) in a rural community hospital setting in California. Start date 05/18/2026 for a travel assignment lasting several weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,307 to $2,512 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 5x8 days. This position requires surgical nursing competencies across OR, PACU, and Endoscopy with on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Circulate in the OR and provide PACU/recovery care, including Endoscopy procedures (e.g., EGD) as part of the surgical team.
- Monitor cardiac rhythm, respond to code events, and manage patients across pediatric to geriatric populations.
- Support multiple procedure rooms (3 rooms) and coordinate with respiratory, pharmacy, and unit secretary teams.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during intraoperative and postoperative phases; prepare and transfer patients to appropriate care areas.
- Participate in on-call coverage: 2 days per week (includes holidays) and 3 weekend 24-hour shifts per month.
- Chart patient progress and outcomes using the Epic system (preferred) and assist with discharge planning and patient education.

Requirements
- Active California RN license (in hand)
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of OR / PACU / Endoscopy experience; Endoscopy experience explicitly required
- Ability to perform circulating and PACU duties across OR, PACU, and Endoscopy settings
- Willingness to float within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities if required
- Submittal requires SSN, DOB, and RTO with application
- Local rules apply: 50-mile radius submission; can only submit to one location within the region
