Job Description

Sage Electronics is seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Sorter & Tester to support our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for sorting, inspecting, and testing electronic components and devices to ensure quality, functionality, and compliance with company standards. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who enjoy working with electronics and value accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort electronic components and devices according to type, condition, and specifications
• Perform basic to intermediate functional testing using approved testing procedures and equipment
• Identify defects, damage, or non-functioning units and document findings accurately
• Record test results and maintain production logs or tracking systems
• Follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Meet productivity and accuracy goals while maintaining quality
• Collaborate with team members and report issues to supervisors as needed

• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic knowledge of electronic components and devices preferred
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping
• Ability to lift up to [X] lbs and stand/sit for extended periods
• Prior experience in electronics testing, repair, manufacturing, or sorting is a plus but not required

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

• Experience using test equipment such as multimeters or diagnostic tools
• Previous work in electronics recycling, refurbishment, or quality control
• Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures
