Job Description Responsabilities Advise GM personnel, technical staff, government relations/public policy staff, and management on global environmental, emissions, vehicle safety, autonomous vehicle, dangerous-goods transportation, and substances-of-concern laws and regulations.
- Advise GM personnel, technical staff, government relations/public policy staff, and management on critical compliance risks and obligations relating to GM products, facilities, and operations.
- Represent GM before federal and state authorities, agencies, administrative tribunals, and courts in regulatory matters and disputes.
- Review proposed laws and regulations, and Provide legal advice in Support of efforts to influence rulemaking and lawmaking.
- Support GM participation in trade association matters.
- Support the drafting, Review, and negotiation of legal agreements
Required Skills: - Experience: 1-2 years of experience in mexican regulations, integrity, government relations and negotiations, knowledge of vehicle components
- Softwares: Paquete Office
- English advanced
- Softskills: Organized, generate new ideas within the team, person of integrity, initiative.

This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location at least 3 times a week {or other frequency dictated by their manager}. The selected candidate will be required to travel <25% for this role. This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
