The Department of State Hospitals – Napa is currently accepting applications for  Psychiatric Technician Assistants (Safety)  for “Selection”for anticipated  Permanent, full time positions for  program placement. Positions and shift availability are limited.  Experience is preferred.  A current Certified Nurse Assistant Certification number must be included on page 2 of the application.

Applications may be screened and only the most competitive will be invited for an interview.  Positions will be filled based upon budget approval.

This advertisement may be used to fill multiple vacancies and will run  until filled with the following cutoff dates: 6/30/2026, 7/29/2026, 8/29/2026 and 9/30/2026.

• Duties Performed and Supervisor’s name and Contact information must be completed on the STD 678 -Incomplete applications will not be considered .
• Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of information provided on the STD. 678.
• Possession of a valid certificate issued by the California Department of Health Services to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
