Job Description Summary

• Operate primary and secondary crushing plant. Help maintain the work site to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate primary and secondary crushing and screening system.
• Operate skid steer to maintain quarry access point.
• Complete cleanup assignments mainly with hand-held tools; work safely around moving and/or rotating equipment while using the required personal protective safety equipment.
• Perform a pre-operational check, servicing of and operation of all assigned mobile equipment.
• Perform cleanup with water avoiding unsafe conditions of water on motors and other electrical equipment and be able to work and move hoses safely while standing on slippery surfaces.
• Keep supervisor informed of any problems affecting assigned work.
• Be aware of environmentally sensitive areas and be alert to correct environment problems that may develop in the assigned work area.

Requirements

• Must pass drug screen, “Fit to Work” physical, and background.
• Must partner with other quarry employees as instructed by facility manager to ensure daily schedules are met.
• Attendance required according to attendance policy to ensure crew ability to operate at a normal efficiency level.
• Physical ability to operate equipment under extreme temperatures and for extended hours of time.
• Initiative to perform/assist with other positions for job completions.
• Attitude/cooperation: always maintain courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to work various times during day, night, or weekend hours at various locations.
• Ability to follow MSHA/OSHA safety guidelines as well as those set forth by the company policy.
• Ability to follow instructions of supervisor/facility manager in order to adhere to company polices, safety guidelines. 

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
