Role:
Pega Business Architect / Analyst supports the evaluation, analysis, and improvement of computer systems to align with business objectives. The individual will assist in understanding organizational processes and contribute to identifying opportunities to enhance system performance and efficiency. This role involves collaborating with business and technical teams to support requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution implementation.
Minimum Experience:
Assist in evaluating current computer systems, identifying inefficiencies, and supporting recommended improvements.
Support cost-benefit and risk analysis activities for system updates and enhancements.
Assist in documenting requirements for workflows, operational functions, and system integrations.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and clarify system requirements.
Support validation activities to help ensure delivered systems align with business and user expectations.
Maintain and update documentation of system specifications, processes, and changes.
Provide support in troubleshooting system-related issues and assist in resolution efforts.
Assist in analysing data intake and integration needs to support system and technical requirements.
Minimum Education /Certifications:
10+ years of experience in IT leadership, architecture, specializing in Pega and Java
Certified as a Business Architect with the Lead Business Architect designation is required depending on role of the contractors.
Proven experience in IT management roles, preferably as a contractor.
A Bachelor of Science (BS) in computer science (CS) or a related field.
Highly knowledgeable in Pega, Objected Oriented Programming Concepts and Patterns, XML, REST, Spring Boot/microservices, OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, technologies, and workflow architecture.
Ability to deliver results within tight project deadlines.
