Due to continuing growth, Meridian HealthCare is looking for a full-time Peer Support Specialist to act as a recovery liaison, advocate, and educator for Meridian Healthcare’s MOM’s (Maternal Opiate Medical Support) Program. Develop recovery support services within the clinical and supportive programs including 12 Step Focused Recovery groups. Provide support and education in personal care/self-help, substance abuse recovery and relapse prevention skills, parenting skills, prenatal and postnatal instruction. Participate in weekly treatment team to report on client progress in recovery and readiness to engage in goals indicated by the treatment plan.
