We are hiring Experienced Live-In Caregivers to serve our client in Putnam Valley, NY If you’re an Experienced Caregiver looking to work for a home care agency that treats their caregivers the right way, apply to join the team at Senior Helpers of Yorktown Heights. We provide companion care and personal care, at home, to seniors. Our caregivers make a direct impact on helping seniors age safely in the comfort of their own homes. Our mission is to provide compassionate care and improve the quality of life for our clients, their families, and our employees. Job Qualifications:

  • REQUIRED: 6+ months of experience caring for elderly clients
  • Dementia Experience required
  • Preferred: NY certification as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA)
  • CNAs, DSPs and Companion Caregivers are all welcome to apply!
  • A genuine desire to engage with our clients and improve their quality of life

  • Daily rate for live-in is $275/day
  • Paid Orientation session at our new Croton-On-Hudson office location

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assistance with ADLs (Bathing, Toileting, Dressing, Mobility, etc.).
  • Provide caring companionship, conversation, and assist with hobbies and leisure activities.
  • Transport and accompany clients to their appointments
  • Grocery shopping and meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping
  • Medication reminders
  • Communicate regularly with the office
