Insurance Sales Representative - Farmers Agency

Tony Castle Farmers Insurance Agency Full-Time Expected Compensation: $50,000-$80,000+ per year, including base salary, commissions, and bonuses

Tony Castle Farmers Insurance Agency is looking for a driven, competitive, and coachable sales professional who wants to build a long-term career in insurance. This is a true sales role, not a passive customer service position. The right person will be comfortable making outbound calls, following up consistently, asking for the sale, and working toward clear production goals.

You do not need to be licensed to apply, but you must be willing to obtain the required insurance licenses. We provide training, support, and a strong compensation package for someone who is motivated to learn, take action, and close business.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers and current clients
  • Follow up with leads and referral opportunities
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products
  • Quote, present, and close new insurance policies
  • Cross-sell and account-round with existing customers
  • Ask for referrals and help build a steady pipeline of new business
  • Assist customers with applications, renewals, and policy changes
  • Maintain accurate records of customer conversations and sales activity
  • Work toward weekly and monthly sales goals

Qualifications

  • Active Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance license strongly preferred
  • Prior Farmers Insurance agency experience is a strong plus
  • Prior insurance sales experience preferred, especially in a captive agency environment
  • Candidates without licenses may still be considered if they have strong sales ability and are willing to get licensed quickly
  • Strong interest in sales, closing, and performance-based income
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with prospective customers
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
  • Coachable and willing to follow a proven sales process
  • Able to manage follow-up, rejection, and a large prospect list
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented

Compensation

Expected compensation is $50,000-$80,000+ per year , including base salary, commissions, and bonuses. High performers have the opportunity to earn more through production-based incentives.

A $2,500 bonus is available if you achieve $50,000 in new business during your first full sales month .
