This position involves authoring, reviewing, and annotating technical tasks that evaluate AI model performance on economics-related problems. You will create original problem sets based on supply and demand figures, econometric outputs, and policy charts, write reference solutions, and implement structured quality checks to ensure accuracy and clarity.

• Develop original problem sets focused on economics concepts.
• Review and annotate technical tasks for AI model evaluation.
• Write clear reference solutions for created tasks.
• Conduct structured quality checks on tasks to maintain high standards.

• PhD in Economics, or MS/MA in Economics with 3+ years of applied, policy, or teaching experience, or BA/BS in Economics with 5+ years of applied, industry, or research experience.
• Working fluency in at least two areas: microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, industrial organization, labor, or development.
• Ability to read and interpret supply and demand figures, econometric outputs, and policy charts.
• Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.

This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule. The role is fully remote and compensated hourly.

The starting rate is $75 per hour, with the potential for promotion based on task quality and throughput.
