The Department Director is responsible for the oversight of all maintenance functions within the community, including ensuring the ongoing use of equipment to ensure its full-service life can be achieved, maintaining records of upkeep on equipment, recommending the appropriate replacement of equipment, either proactively for essential equipment, or upon failure for non-critical equipment as well as the timely delivery of day to day repairs services to residents and other departments. Director will make recommendations and report to the Management Team (Department leadership) as appropriate on repairs and maintenance issues that could have an adverse impact upon the community. Director will lead major expansion and renovation projects as assigned to help the community move forward with market-driven initiatives, including working strategically with outside construction companies, architects, government officials, vendors, home office as well as The Culpeper management. The Director is also responsible for ensuring compliance with all community, state, and federal regulations. Following and creating community and departmental guidelines, policies and procedures as outlined in the team member handbook.
